Hakan is from New Zealand but he was born in Turkey in 1972. He started his professional experience with punch cards and continued with GW Basic, Pascal, Turbo Pascal, Delphi and Java for desktop application development. Hakan worked in industrial software development to design and build PLC and SCADA applications using C, C++, and Assembly. With the rise of web applications, he started developing PHP, Perl, CGI, ASP and ASP.Net applications. In the last 20 years, he mainly worked in Microsoft technology stack using C#, .Net, .Net Core, Blazor, Azure, EF, and MS SQL. Hakan has significant experience in AI, ML, NLP, LLM, RAG, bot solutions using Phyton, Node and other TypeScript languages.

He enjoys cooking dishes from international cuisines and playing musical instruments (Baglama, guitar, clarinet).
