EPS Software Corp. to Present at Silicon Valley Code Camp
,p>Houston, TX – August 28, 2014… EPS Software Corp./ CODE’s President and CSA, Markus Egger, and CEO, Mike Yeager, will be presenting at the Silicon Valley Code Camp.
On October 11, Mike Yeager, CEO for CODE Consulting, will be presenting the lecture “CODE Framework WPF MVC/MVVM Projects” at the Silicon Valley Code Camp in Los Altos Hills, California. Yeager’s session will show attendees how to use the WPF MVVM/MVC framework subset of the CODE Framework to build a modern and professional interface in a highly productive way. Emphasis is put on building reusable and maintainable interfaces in a structured way that can be taught to all developer skill levels without sacrificing implementation and architecture quality.
CODE’s President, Markus Egger, will also be presenting. Egger’s session, “XAML Anti-Patterns,” will explore various incarnations of XAML, such as WPF, WinRT, and Windows Phone, all tremendously powerful, productive, and flexible UI development environments. However, with great power also comes great power to do things incorrectly, which leads to many projects based on XAML technologies that are in trouble in some way. In this session, Egger will take a look at XAML Anti-Patterns – common solutions that end up being ineffective and counterproductive. Among the discussed patterns and techniques are things like bootstrappers, virtualization, resources, XAML itself, and much, much more. Many of the presented topics may surprise even advanced XAML developers.
This year, the Silicon Valley Code Camp will be held at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. The conference will take place October 11 – 12, 2014. Code Camps are a new type of community event where developers learn from fellow developers. All are welcome to attend and speak, and most events are free. Code Camps have been wildly successful, and EPS Software Corp. and CODE are eager to be part of bringing that success to Northern California.
