EPS Software Corp. Marks 20th Anniversary
Houston, TX – December 17, 2013… EPS Software Corp. the creator of CODE Magazine, The Leading Independent Developer Magazine, is celebrating 20 years of successfully meeting and exceeding customer expectations and requirements as they develop custom software.
Markus Egger established EPS Software Corp (Egger Programme Services) in 1993 in his home country of Austria at the age of 18. The company was opened in the United States, while still maintaining its Austrian base, in 1997.
The publishing branch began in 1998 in Austria and the first issue of CODE Magazine was released in the United States in 2000.
While the company began in a time when Visual Fox Pro was the relevant technology, EPS Software Corp took hold of the radical concept to investigate and stay involved in related technologies and used the magazine as an outlet to push the idea that underlying concepts and architecture was more important than the actual language something was programmed in.
Looking back on the past 20 years of owning the company, Egger is amazed at how far EPS Software Corp has come in the business world. “This was a little company that we built into an efficient, state-of-the-art leader in software development and programming!”
