New CODE Framework Release Now Available
Houston, TX – August 24, 2015… EPS Software Corp., CODE, and Markus Egger Inc. are proud to announce a new CODE Framework release.
CODE and EPS Software is proud to announce a new release of CODE Framework. This build includes a lengthy list of significant improvements and additions. While there are incremental enhancements in all areas of the framework, the most significant news fall into the categories of WPF Themes as well as REST Services and JSON.
CODE Framework’s popular features for the creation of Micro Services have been enhanced to make it even easier for developers to support REST-based services. CODE Framework now incorporates a branched version of JSON.NET for all JSON serialization. This ensures powerful and standards-based JSON formatting and enhances developer’s control over aspects such as date/time serialization. It also allows developers to use the well-known JSON.NET packages rather than custom JSON formatting. CODE Framework has also been updated to use the latest version of Web API in scenarios where services are to be Web API hosted.
The new version of the framework has also received numerous updates for WPF UI development, including improved Themes. All themes received upgrades for touch support. All themes also received an overhaul in their default color themes and designs to make it even easier for developers to create professional looking applications “out of the box”. The popular Workplace theme has received an overhaul to follow the enhanced look in Microsoft Office 2016.
Additionally, various enhancements have been made to all parts of the framework. Details can be found in the “change log” section on http://codeframework.codeplex.com.
